I Love This, You Should Too is a podcast about sharing the things you like with the people you love, regardless of how terrible you think their taste may be. Hosts Indy Randhawa and Samantha Randhawa take turns introducing the other to beloved movies and other pieces of pop culture, and try to convince them that they should love it too. Sometimes they agree, sometimes they argue, but either way, they still have to live together. I Love This, You Should Too! is a proud member of the Alberta Podcast Network: Locally Grown. This week. Indy recommends Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle and may convert to Bokononism, Sam does some drunk yachting with Below Deck, and we preview next week’s feature; Beetlejuice.
Cat's Cradle is a satirical postmodern novel, with science fiction elements, by American writer Kurt Vonnegut. Vonnegut's fourth novel, it was first published in 1963, exploring and satirizing issues of science, technology, the purpose of religion, and the arms race, often through the use of black humor. After turning down his original thesis in 1947, the University of Chicago awarded Vonnegut his master's degree in anthropology in 1971 for Cat's Cradle.
Below Deck is an American reality television series on Bravo that debuted on July 1, 2013, developed by Mark Cronin, Rebecca Taylor Henning, and Doug Henning.[1][2] Announced in April 2012, Below Deck chronicles the lives of the crew members who work and reside aboard a superyacht during charter season.[3] It shows the crew as they deal with their personal issues in order to make their professional careers work.
